Meet the Administrators

Dear Atlantic West Community,

Welcome to the beginning of a new and exciting school year! I hope this letter finds you and your family in good spirits and ready to embark on another year of learning and growth.  The Florida Department of Education has rated Atlantic West a “B” school.   Our students demonstrated academic growth in all areas and subgroups.  I am very proud of the hard work and dedication exhibited by staff and students. 

As we start this academic year, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. Our dedicated team of educators is enthusiastic about supporting each student's individual journey, ensuring that they feel valued, challenged, and motivated to achieve their best. This year, we have planned numerous activities and programs designed to enhance their educational experience.

House System: We will be implementing a House System designed to foster a spirit of community, collaboration and positive competition for our students.  Each student will be placed in a house during the first week of school.

Curriculum Enrichment: We will be implementing new and engaging teaching strategies to make learning more dynamic and interactive.

Extracurricular Activities: A wide range of clubs will be available to encourage students to explore their interests and develop new skills.

Parental Involvement: We believe that your participation is key to your child’s success. Various workshops and meetings will be organized to involve you in the educational process.

Keeping you informed and involved is a priority for us. Please look forward to regular updates through newsletters, emails, and parent-teacher conferences. We are always here to listen to your concerns and provide feedback.

The first day of school is Monday, August 11, 2025.  Parents and teachers are expected to meet at least twice per year to discuss student progress.  I encourage you to sign up for a FOCUS account to receive updates and current student information from Interim and Progress Reports.
